The work I make is best described as botanical art. I create felt and embroidery work combined with paintings, inspired by botanical studies and illustration. All of this in a very contemporary way using the techniques of older crafts. The materials I use are as organic as can be and whenever it is possible prepared by myself.

For instance: the wool I use for my feltwork comes from sheep farmers and shepperds who keep their sheep in a very caring way. To give the wool the colors I need, I dye it myself with homegrown natural dyes. While growing, harvesting and processing the dyeplants I try to make every step as nature friendly as possible.
